Our Magical Journey
KidPlay World began in 2012 when two childhood friends, Emma Thompson and Michael Chen, combined their expertise in child development and game design. After years of working separately in the educational technology industry, they recognized a gap in the market: casual games that were genuinely fun while also supporting children's development.
Their first game—a simple puzzle app created in Emma's living room—quickly gained popularity among parents looking for quality digital experiences for their children. What started as a passion project soon grew into a dedicated team of educators, artists, and developers united by a shared vision: creating magical digital spaces where children can play, learn, and grow.
In 2015, we secured our first round of investment, allowing us to expand our team and develop a broader range of games. By 2018, our games had reached over 1 million children worldwide, and we established partnerships with educational institutions to ensure our content remained pedagogically sound and developmentally appropriate.
Today, KidPlay World is home to a diverse team of 30 professionals across three continents, all committed to crafting exceptional digital experiences for young minds. Our games are available in 15 languages and enjoyed by children in over 150 countries, but our core mission remains unchanged: blending joy and learning in every pixelated adventure.
